Last night Kev and I had a relaxing night of dinner at the Mandarin followed by some quality time with Monday night’s TV lineup. It was delightfully relaxing. That being said, I missed participating in Halloween. We didn’t go to any costume parties this year, nor did we hand out candy to trick-or-treaters (the apartment building has rules against children trick-or-treating). Fortunately the staff at the Mandarin lifted my spirits with their subtle costumes. I say “subtle” because most staff had on a Halloween-y item, or two – devil horns, wings, halos, witches hats, etc. That is, with the exception of our server, who apparently didn’t get the subtle memo OR is just a serious Halloween enthusiast… He was dressed up in a fully fairy costume with heavy clown makeup.
