When a representative from Ricki’s asked me if I would like to test drive a few pieces from their fall collection, I quickly jumped at the opportunity to pick out a new autumn look.  After a full-store (and website!) browse, along with helpful recommendations from the sales staff, I decided on a vest/tunic/leggings  look.  This is a slight departure from my everyday style because at the moment, my leggings tend to be reserved for work-out and lounge attire (this is a ridiculous mental block as I have no problem wearing slim-fit pants, which are essentially just thicker leggings…).

Vest:  c/o Ricki’s  {I have actually been wanting a nice faux fur vest for a few seasons now, but I was unable to find something at a decent price point that didn’t look inherently cheap.  This vest is incredibly soft and is of much better quality than the other options I considered in the past}
Blouse:  c/o Ricki’s
Leggings:  c/o Ricki’s  {they keep their shape quite well!}
Necklace:  c/o Ricki’s
Bracelets:  both c/o Ricki’s (here and here)
Purse:  Le Chateau {old}
Boots:  Enzo Angiolini {simliar}
Sunglasses:  Aldo

PS: I’m giving away a $50 gift card to Ricki’s – check back early next week for details!

  1. I agree, this vest looks expensive and luxurious. That soft pink really looks great on you and with the vest! I tend to shy away from leggings too…but have no problem with jeggings so it must be a mental thing!

  2. Love this look! I’ve never really checked out Ricki’s but this outfit is going to make me change my mind! How do you find the vest fits? Oversized or true to size? Thanks Laura. Love your style!

    1. Hi Amy – Thanks for stopping by!
      The vest is slightly oversized. However, I think this will be advantageous when I decide to wear thicker layers underneath. It is also longer than some of the other vests I’ve looked at (the webpage doesn’t give any measurements, so I wasn’t sure what to expect). For reference, I’m 5’10” and normally wear a size 4 on top. The vest is a size small (their smallest size in this style), and it hits me below the hips.
