Laura Wears ... split neck green dress

Laura Wears ... turquoise homemade shift dress

I quickly took these photos last Saturday before attending a friend’s wedding.  It was the first time since early June that I had attempted heels and I was determined to make it work,  Unfortunately, even a minimal amount of walking proved too much & I reluctantly changed into flats after the ceremony.  Too much too soon…

The rest of my post – as promised.

Today was a loooong day at work.  And unfortunately long days generally lead to  junk food consumption (ie. I totally fell off the “eat clean” bandwagon).  Now, at 8:30 pm, I feel like ass and I have no one to blame but myself.

Easter Weekend

I hope everyone enjoyed the Easter weekend.  Today I am back to work (and naturally incredibly jealous of everyone who has today off!).

Yesterday I stumbled across the 1 Week 1 Goal challenge and figured it was a great way to kick-start my commitment to clean eating (something I have been wanting to do for a while)!  For those that are interested, you can read more about clean eating here and here
